The World Cup Championship Final was held on Sunday, September 10th.
Although the lineups of Germany and Serbia weren’t as stunning as the U.S. and Canada, with the brilliant team work and the perfect adjustment of the coach, they overcame all the obstacles on the way to the Championship Final.
Germany won their first-ever FIBA Basketball World Cup title by beating Serbia 83-77.
Germany sent all their best in this game, not only the NBA Raptors Dennis Schröder and Pacers Daniel Theis, but also NBA Magic brothers Moritz Wagner and Franz Wagner.
Different from the traditional slower system, which center would be the offense, Germany used the transition offense. Letting Serbia have no chance to fight back.
Although Serbia didn’t win the championship, with the lead of the legendary coach Svetislav Pesic, the team, which half of the players had no world championship experience, went all the way to the championship game.
Of course, everyone knows if the NBA star Nikola Jokic and Thunder guard Vasilije Micic join the Olympics.
Serbia may have achievements that shock the world.
