PBA Blackwater defeated Converge 103-84 during Commissioner’s Cup game at Sports Arena.
Chris Ortiz performed well for his first game and he scored 21 points. 11 rebounds and 6 assists.
The players of the Blackwater also performed very well.
Jayvee Casio scored 15 points, Mike Ayonayon scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and Rey Suerte scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
Also, Converge star Tom Vodanovich scored 20 points and 18 rebounds.
The free agent player Mark Tallo scored 15 points, Alex Stockton scored 14 points and Jerrick Balanza scored 12 points.
However, the team only hit 32 out of 95. Although the players’ performance was about the same, the bench players presented average performance.
The Blackwater won the game. It can also be said to be the first upset game in the PBA.
