The Philippines gets back at Senegal

The rank in Asia has risen 

The Philippines got back at Senegal, 75-63, in the Heyuan WUS International Basketball Tournament in Guangdong, China on August 6th night.

The Philippines didn’t perform well in the first half.  They got a feel during the second half. 

Under the condition of 6 points behind, they hit 18-3 with only 4 : 37 left. 

The 3rd quarter ended in a 65-56 lead.

The Philippines will be facing Iran again in a week-long 3-team round-robin tournament on Monday. 

CJ Perez led the scorers with 14 points, while Edu finished with 13 points.

The Gilas Pilipinas will be returning to the Philippines tomorrow (Tuesday).
